The Live-in Care Service
Spire Homecare provides a service that allows people to stay in their own home whilst being supported throughout the day when required. We understand the importance of being at home, keeping control of your life and remaining as independent as possible. Our live-in care services provide one-to-one person-centred support in your own surroundings.
Live-in care costs are much reduced to the typical residential placement. Our team of fully trained and vetted carers are on hand to meet your needs in your home.
Low Dependency (Please call for quote)
Where minimal or no personal care is required. The carer will provide encouragement and assistance with everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning, shopping and laundry, prompting of medication, accompaniment to and from appointments, as well as companionship. This would include early onset Dementia.
Medium Dependency (Please call for quote)
For those who require assistance and support with all aspects of personal care. Such as support with getting in and out of bed, toileting, washing and dressing and care of catheters, meal preparation, medication administration and light household tasks. This would include moderative cognitive decline, especially where the carer may be woken at night.
High Dependency (Please call for quote)
For those who require more support with personal care, such as learning or physical disabilities that require long term support and for those who require regular use of the hoist. Those who have been discharged from hospital and require 24-hour observation and have an expected long-term recovery. Those who have degenerative conditions and have complex needs (i.e., Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and severe cognitive decline).

A very supportive and caring agency always focussed on the individual needs of the person. Carers are polite and endeavour to respect the needs of the client. It is pleasing to note the respect and support given to my sister who has a Learning Disability so that she can remain as independent as possible.
I find Spire Homecare management team efficient and helpful, all ways ready to sort out any problems quickly. I would recommend Spire Homecare to family and friends. Mother-in-law Freda likes all the carers that tend her all our friendly and caring.

I am incredibly emotional when talking about Spire Homecare and how much they have positively impacted me since taking on my package of care. I feel as though the timings are great because I now know when to expect the care staff and the carers have been really personable and friendly.
Upon immediate contact with the Registered Manager, when she visited my father's home, I felt Spire Homecare provided welcoming and very helpful care. Specifically, the care is tailored to the my father's needs - which as my father has dementia is quite specific. The carers visited my father when I was staying [they didn't know I was there] and they were happy, helpful and, most importantly person-centred. I would highly recommend Spire Homecare.
It's a little difficult to treat everybody for all the good work so far, so I thought I will just have a Mass said for all your carers and office staff. So, Mass will be said in St Osmund's on December 22nd at 10:00am for the Spire Homecare Carers who have supported me so patiently through my Parkinson's journey. It was an absolute please to work with you both this morning. You both showed excellent experience in Moving and Handling and professionalism, and I was amazed with the carers ability to use sign language to communicate with the service user.
Thank you again for all your efforts to find cover whilst our Live-in Carer took leave. Everything went so well and Mum has been happy and settled throughout... Amazing! Everyone has been so genuinely kind and caring. We are so happy that we have changed to Spire Homecare. Thank you all x
